(On her career) I’m not going to be a woman who ever makes $17 million per movie.

(On her private life) I didn’t comment on my personal life when everyone thought it was boring and now that it’s exciting, I don’t comment on it either.

(On her favorite role) My favorite role was in Fried green tomatoes. There were so many stories and lives woven through that movie, that made a wonderful tale of human emotion and relationships.

(On her break-up) I was devastated when I found out that my boyfriend was leaving me for another woman, I was seven months pregnant, for crying out loud! I was also devastated when I ran out of chocolate milk, things pass, life goes on.

(On Will) I thought I knew what love was, until I had this beautiful baby boy. That love is impenetrable, it is pure. Nothing can touch that. You can tell me things about myself and I may believe you to a point. If you try and tell me something about the way I feel about my son, it won’t work. That love is so pure and it is so rare in this world.

(On Will and Ash) They do [get along with each other]. They’re incredible together. They’re super sweet!

(On Will and Ash) Sometimes we’ll get up in the middle of dinner and have a dance party, just because there’s music on and everybody’s happy. There’s also one wall in my living room that the kids are allowed to paint on, and sometimes we’ll empty all the food that’s gone bad out of the refrigerator, put it in a bucket, mash it around, and call it witches’ brew.

(On being lucky) I count my blessing every minute I get a chance… How did I get so lucky? I have a wonderful life! A son that I adore, a show that I get to meet people like Snoop Dog on, that guy is a riot, he is great company.

(On keeping her daughter’s name Aberash) Somebody asked what her name was, and I told them Aberash. They said, “Did you make that up, or did she come with that?” Like she was a car! [It's] the only thing I have to give her that her parents left her.

(On candies) I like Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, really tacky candy like Bit-o-Honeys and Butterfingers. I have a bad sweet tooth. I’d rather have candy than a classic French pastry.

(On life) I try to see the positive in everyday, to be a negative energy is just so draining on everyone. Pretty soon, no one wants to hang out, if you have too many hang-ups about the rotten parts of your day.

(On Nancy Botwin) If someone would have told me ten years ago, that I would be playing a soccer-mom and a drug dealer, and they would be the same person… I would have thought you were crazy. But here I am, a soccer mom that deals marijuana to the town each week on television.

(On Nancy Botwin) My character is not always completely likeable but that’s what I like about it. I just think she’s somebody who’s really repressed and damaged from something horrible that has happened to her, and this is how she’s dealing with it.
